It can happen. Known cases are on each card's page.
-
Who issues the card?
The brand isn't always the issuer. Known issuers are on each card's page.

How cashback works
- Core earns 3% on the first US$2,000 of spend each month, less after that; ETHFI cashback is claimable after 7 days and can be withdrawn once it reaches US$5; some merchant categories earn no cashback.
- Basic (Midnight Blue) 0%: Free; no subscription or CRO stake
- Plus (Ruby Steel) 1.5%: Monthly spend: 1.5% up to US$750, 0% above; Level Up Plus (C$6.99/month or C$69.90/year), or C$650 in CRO staked for 12 months
- Pro (Jade Green / Royal Indigo) 2.5%: Monthly spend: 2.5% up to US$1,500, 0% above; Level Up Pro (C$39.99/month or C$399.90/year), or C$6,500 in CRO staked for 12 months
- Private (Icy White / Rose Gold) 3.5%: Monthly spend: 3.5% up to US$3,000, 0.5% above; C$65,000 in CRO staked for 12 months
- Private (Obsidian) 4.5%: Monthly spend: 4.5% up to US$5,000, 1% above; C$650,000 in CRO staked for 12 months
- Pro cashback counts only Apple Pay/Google Pay payments; it is paid in USDs, which can only be spent with the card, not withdrawn, transferred or used to buy cards; capped at US$18 a month, and it expires after 30 days.
