💳 The Ether.fi physical crypto card gives Core members a standard 3% cashback rate on the first US$2,000 of eligible spending each month. Above that threshold, the rate steps down to 1% or 0.5%. Cashback is paid in ETHFI, subject to Ether.fi’s current cashback rules. I tried it a few times in August 2025 and was satisfied overall.
I was able to pay at Cama, booking sites, and department stores. The cashback rate is tiered by membership level and monthly eligible spending, and some transactions do not qualify. Check Ether.fi’s current rules for the benefits that apply.
My card tests at the time
In August 2025, my test payments at 7-ELEVEN stores and a copy shop (which displayed that international card payments were not enabled) did not go through. Results may differ by store, payment method, and transaction time. I have only a small number of personal test records, which are not enough to judge which merchants are more likely to accept the card. I don’t know why those transactions failed. 7-ELEVEN’s website lists contactless payments with foreign cards, but whether this card works for a specific transaction depends on the authorization result.
