Key differences:
- Rewards: Bybit Card has no subscription fee and starts at 2% on the Base tier, capped at US$5 a month. Fiat-balance payments do not earn rewards. RedotPay’s 3% requires Pro (US$12.90 monthly or US$129 yearly) and applies only to Apple Pay or Google Pay purchases. Rewards are issued as USDs, expire after 30 days, and can only pay for future card purchases; they cannot be withdrawn, transferred, or used to buy a card.
- TWD costs: RedotPay costs about 2.2%, compared with 2.9% for Bybit Card. Paying from Bybit’s fiat USD balance costs 2% on TWD purchases but earns no rewards.
- Wallets: RedotPay is the option to consider for Apple Pay; Bybit Card supports Google Pay only.
- Card issuance: Bybit’s physical card costs 5 USDT; RedotPay’s costs US$100.
- Selected subscriptions: Bybit offers 100% rewards on subscriptions such as ChatGPT Plus, Claude Pro, Netflix, and Spotify. Base is excluded; Beta requires VIP, while Alpha and above qualify. Pay on the merchant’s website with crypto; App Store and third-party billing do not qualify. These rewards count toward the tier’s monthly cap.

Who is RedotPay for?
- People paying in TWD with crypto who want to reduce conversion costs.
- People who want Apple Pay.
- People who mainly pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay and accept Pro at US$12.90 monthly or US$129 yearly, with rewards capped at 18 USDs per month and expiring after 30 days.
- People who want to apply directly for a physical card shipped to Taiwan, without Bybit’s spending-limit Level 2 and waitlist constraints.
What to know before applying
- Bybit is custodial, so funds are held in an exchange account. In February 2025, Bybit’s ETH cold wallet was hacked, causing losses of more than US$1.4 billion. Bybit said customer funds were unaffected and card service continued. On June 11, 2026, Taiwan’s securities regulator announced that Bybit had not completed anti-money-laundering registration with the FSC and could not provide virtual-asset services in Taiwan or solicit Taiwanese customers.
- Bybit Card rewards count only crypto-funded payments and have a monthly cap for each tier. Physical cards are being rolled out in batches; applicants who do not meet the conditions may be waitlisted.
- RedotPay Pro fees are generally non-refundable. Pro rewards and benefits must be used mainly in the country or region where you activated Pro, or they may be suspended.
- RedotPay Credit requires crypto collateral to access a credit limit. Interest is 0.05% per day, and liquidation occurs when the risk index reaches 0.9. This risk does not apply if you do not use Credit.
