What is Infini? Company background

Infini is operated by BP SG Investment Holding Limited, a Hong Kong-registered company holding a Hong Kong Trust or Company Service Provider (TCSP) licence. This is not a banking or payment licence. The company states that it is not a bank and does not take deposits. US-based Cynosure Technology LLC is registered as a money services business (MSB) with FinCEN, while INFINIGROWTH DIGITAL INC. is registered as an MSB with FINTRAC in Canada. Infini also says that registration in one region does not mean it can provide regulated services elsewhere.

The founder and CEO is Christian. On September 22, 2026, the company announced a US$6 million seed round with participants including Reforge, Fortwest Capital, Enlight Capital, NextGen Digital Venture, SNZ Capital, and Vernal, alongside the launch of a new mobile app. The company said the funds would expand payment channels, strengthen compliance, and develop AI financial agents.

The account is custodial: funds sit in your Infini account balance. Personal and business accounts are separate spaces; balances, transaction records, and verification status do not carry over between them. This article covers personal accounts only.

Infini rewards: Pro, Lite, and Max

The three cards are separate products, not upgrade tiers. The Infini AI card was discontinued in October 2026. The company calls its personal cards prepaid virtual cards, not credit cards. Rewards are calculated on the settled amount.

Rewards can reach 3%, depending on account membership level. Lite earns no rewards, and its spending does not count toward the threshold for a higher reward rate. To subscribe to ChatGPT or Claude, pay the service directly with the card; currently, only Lite supports this.

Infini fees

  • Card issuance: The first card has no issuance fee, with an initial top-up of at least US$10; the funds go into the card balance. Each account gets one free card across all card types.
  • Monthly and annual fees: 0 for all three cards.
  • Conversion: Converting between US dollars and stablecoins costs 0.10% to 0.20%, with lower rates at higher account levels.
  • Foreign currency: Pro charges 1% on non-USD spending, Lite 3%, and Max 0% FX; Max charges 1% on spending outside Hong Kong.
  • TWD spending: Pro 1%, Lite 3%, Max 1%; Max also charges US$0.30 per transaction under US$50.
  • Refunds: Pro and Max charge 1%.

See Infini fees in detail. You can also compare plans with the same Lite, Pro, and Max names in the Tria card application guide.

Know before applying

  • Funds are held in a custodial Infini account. The company says this is not equivalent to a bank deposit and is not covered by deposit insurance.
  • In February 2025, about US$49.5M in USDC was transferred out using administrative access left by a former developer. In June 2025, the old Global, Lite, and Tech cards were all discontinued and fees already paid were refunded. Today’s Pro, Lite, and Max are a relaunched product line.
  • The 2% reward rate applies during a promotion; the long-term base rate is 1%.
  • Lite costs 3% on TWD spending, and only Lite supports ChatGPT / Claude subscriptions. Consider Pro or Max for other uses.

How to apply for Infini (where to enter the referral code)

The website registration page has no referral-code field. The code 4W48dOk is included in the referral link, so start registration from that link rather than entering it manually.

  1. Open the referral link to reach personal account registration (business accounts use a separate entry point).
  2. Complete personal account KYC identity verification.
  3. Top up at least US$10; the funds will go into the card balance.
  4. Create a virtual card; the first card has no issuance fee.
  5. Choose Lite or Max to add the card to Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Using Infini in Taiwan

Little Penguin confirmed that Taiwan residents can apply. The company says its service is unavailable in Mainland China and the United States; Taiwan is not on the KYC restricted list.

For everyday payments, use Apple Pay or Google Pay: the company lists Lite and Max as supported, but not Pro. JKoPay cannot be linked because it only accepts credit cards issued by domestic partner banks. Taiwan has no physical card; all three are virtual.
