Roogoo offers prepaid cards funded with USDT, including Premier, Enjoy and Infinity-II, on Visa and Mastercard networks. See the U-card comparison to compare other cards. Fees and risks are summarized below under What to know before applying.
What is Roogoo? Company background
Roogoo was co-founded by people who worked in early internet payments. On March 3, 2025, it announced that cryptocurrency investment and wealth-management services would be available from March 15.
The platform is operated by Roogoo Holdings Limited (British Virgin Islands) and governed by British Virgin Islands law. The card terms are entered into with Roogoo Inc.

These are custodial cards: funds first go to a Roogoo asset account and are then moved to individual cards. Each card is a separate account. Top-ups accept USDT only, on BEP20, XLayer, TRC20, Solana, Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum One and opBNB.

Roogoo card fees
- Card issuance: the first virtual card is US$0; each additional card costs US$4.99.
- Annual and monthly fees: US$0 under a temporary waiver; the original monthly fee was US$0.50.
- Top-ups: 0%. The first top-up must be at least US$10; later top-ups must be at least US$1. Only whole US dollars are accepted.
- Exchange rate: Roogoo says there is no currency-conversion fee. Transactions settle at the live bank exchange rate, which differs from Google’s rate by about 0.2% to 0.5%.
- Seven-day fee waiver: applies only to the first Premier or Enjoy card for 7 × 24 hours after activation, while cumulative spending remains below US$500. Fees resume on the transaction that reaches US$500. The bank first deducts transaction and cross-border fees, then refunds them, so the balance must cover them. Infinity-II is excluded.
- Declined transaction fees: Premier and Enjoy charge 2% or 5%, depending on the authorization amount and balance ratio, plus US$0.50; each fee is US$0.01 to US$30. Infinity-II charges US$0.50 for each of the first three declines per month, then US$1 per decline.
- Other fees: reversals of authorizations of US$5 or more cost US$1; those under US$5 cost US$0.20. Disputes cost US$50 each, regardless of outcome.
- Cancellation: cancelling a card claimed for free costs US$4.99 and previously issued rewards are clawed back. The fee is waived after more than 20 successful transactions and at least US$1,000 in cumulative spending.

What to know before applying
- Using the card at prohibited merchants (such as Uber or gas stations), or not using it for a full month, may lead to cancellation. The remaining balance may not be returned.
- A balance below US$2 freezes the card. A negative balance or five consecutive declines moves it to pending cancellation; if you do not add funds within 72 hours, the bank closes it.
- Premier and Enjoy still charge decline fees if a merchant submits another authorization within 90 days of cancellation. Unlink the card from subscriptions before cancelling it.
