The MEXC Global Card is a Visa virtual debit card launched by MEXC on August 31, 2026. Deposit USDT into your MEXC fiat account, then load it onto the card; conversion to the purchase currency happens when you pay. Monthly cashback is 4%, 6%, or 10% based on your M-Score, and there is no annual fee. Fees and risks are covered in What to know before applying.
What is MEXC? Company background
MEXC, sometimes called the Matcha exchange in Chinese, was founded in 2018. Its products include spot and futures trading, earn products, P2P, and copy trading. Its current CEO is Vugar Usi, appointed in an official announcement on April 8, 2026; he previously served as COO. In August 2026, MEXC said it had more than 40 million users across over 170 markets, with more than 3,000 digital assets available to trade.
The Global Card is MEXC’s second Visa card, with funds held by MEXC. MEXC also offers a separate MEXC Card (APAC). The Global Card is not the discontinued MEXC × ether.fi co-branded card. For exchange options, see the crypto exchanges I use.
MEXC card cashback: M-Score at month-end sets one of three tiers
There is no staking or separate application for cashback. The system assigns a tier automatically based on your M-Score. M-Score has a maximum of 1,000 points, starts at 350, and is based on trading volume, platform activity, and account security records. New accounts automatically receive 350 points the day after registration, the minimum for the Standard tier.
| Item | Standard | Advanced | Elite |
|---|---|---|---|
| M-Score on the last day of the month | 350–599 | 600–799 | 800 or above |
| Cashback rate | 4% | 6% | 10% |
| Monthly cashback cap | 100 USDT | 300 USDT | 800 USDT |
| Cashback currency | USDT | USDT | USDT |
| Card issuance fee | Waived for a limited time (normally US$20) | Waived for a limited time (normally US$20) | Waived for a limited time (normally US$20) |
| Annual fee | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| Purchase fee | 1% | 1% | 1% |
| ATM | — | — | — |
- The tier on the last day of the month applies to that month’s purchases. M-Score is recalculated on the 1st and 15th of each month; withdrawals or reduced trading activity can lower your score.
- The cap applies to cashback earned. You can keep using the card after reaching it, but you will not earn more cashback. If you hold both MEXC cards, they share one cap.
- Cashback is credited to your spot account by the 15th of the following month.
- Purchases at merchants in these categories do not earn cashback: financial services, cash and ATM, remittance and payment services, gambling, government payments, charitable donations, and direct selling.
- The card also has a dedicated flexible earn product with a 7% annualized rate. Subscribe manually with 100 to 100,000 USDT; interest accrues hourly, is credited the next day, and can be redeemed at any time. MEXC says cashback, earn returns, and referral rewards are available only during promotional periods and may be adjusted or canceled afterward.

MEXC card fees
- Purchase fee: 1% per transaction, including purchases in USD; crypto conversion fee: 0%. Purchases settle at the Visa exchange rate, with no additional FX markup from MEXC. Visa charges an FX fee for some currencies.

- Annual and loading fees: both 0. Loads are accepted only in USDT, from 1 to 1,000,000 USDT per transaction.
- Small purchases: US$0.10 per transaction under US$1.

What to know before applying
- This is a debit card, not a credit card. USDT is loaded onto the card and converted into the purchase currency when you pay.
- There is no physical card or ATM access. MEXC says it does not plan to launch a physical card in the near term.
- Several consecutive failed transactions can trigger a risk review, and the card may be terminated automatically.
- JKO Pay cannot be linked in Taiwan.
